Why a Fundraiser?

As you all know, Riley’s Pour House suffered a catastrophic fire on November 14, 2024 that destroyed the entire pub. While the pub building and contents were destroyed, fire couldn’t touch what mattered most: 40 years of unforgettable memories built around food, music, drink, and great craic. One silver lining has been the outpouring of love and support from the Pour House’s friends and neighbors in Carnegie and throughout the city. This support made it apparent that the Pour House was more than just a watering hole – it was and will be again a community asset as a gathering place for family and friends, a stage for live music and a cornerstone of Carnegie’s business scene.

And while insurance proceeds cover a portion of the reconstruction costs, it is only a fraction of the expenses necessary to bring this neighborhood gem back to life. A group of volunteers, Friends of Riley’s Pour House, have organized a concert fundraiser, Raise a Glass for Riley’s Pour House, as well as other events to assist the Rileys in restoring this anchor of the community. For those unable to attend the Raise a Glass event, but who still wish to contribute, donations may be made directly through our GoFundMe page to help support the resurrection of Riley’s Pour House!

Community Voices

"The Pour House has been an institution here in Carnegie for decades, a 'destination'. Employing a tremendous amount of people over the years and being a huge asset to the community. My business has had a symbiotic relationship with the Pour House for over 2 decades. I can’t wait to see it lighting up the center of nightlife again in my town!"

  • Dean Cefalo, Owner, Cefalo’s Banquet and Event Center

"Riley's Pour House is not just another restaurant or pub... Riley's is the SOUL of Carnegie. It holds lovely memories and great times. It holds love. Carnegie needs its Pour House and the Pour House needs all of us."

  • Jo Beth Barr & Jamie Stivers, Owners, OHH LA LA Boutique and Spa

"Carnegie is no stranger to tragedy, but the loss of Riley's Pour House to a fire last November hit our community especially hard. Riley's was a staple of our Main Street that brought folks from all over the area. We are all excited for Riley's to return."

  • Sam Bigham, Director, Carnegie Community Development Corporation (CCDC)

"As a borough, community, and surrounding region, we truly couldn't be happier to see Riley’s rise again. The Pour House has always been more than just a place to grab a drink; it's been a cornerstone of our local life, a gathering spot for friends and neighbors, and a testament to the spirit of our town. This isn't just about a pub reopening; it's about the return of a vital piece of our community's heart."
